“Buona cucina, buona musica e buone persone.”

— Piero Buttitta

Really enjoyed eating here. The pizza was so fresh and tasted amazing, and the ingredients were clearly good quality. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Definitely a place I’d come back to whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Volveria solo para el tiramisu, jajaja (Translated by Google) First time here. We stumbled upon it by chance, and what a find! Excellent service, really good pizzas. The pasta carbonara was delicious and a generous portion, which is always appreciated. The tiramisu is amazing. A huge portion for less than 6 euros! Being right in the center of Madrid, it seems like the perfect place. I'd go back just for the tiramisu, haha!

My go to lunch spot! The service is so quick, the portions are enormous, and the prices are reasonable. I got the Spaghetti Carbonara and I highly recommend.

We haven’t eaten here in about three years but it’s just as good as I remember. The food is delicious, the price is fantastic, the portions are large, and the staff is still just as friendly. The decor is quaint and transports you to a divvy little restaurant on the Italian streets. All in all, this place is great. Update: Still a fantastic pizza spot with great food and wonderful service. A few things I need to add to my reviews. I’ve never seen this before in Spain but I witnessed the restaurant staff turn away a solicitor. Spain usually lets those guys in to harass and torture customers unendingly. The second thing is this place’s tinto de verano is perfectly portioned and delicious. What a great place! Go and enjoy.

💳 PRECIO MEDIO: 💵💵 🏆 PUNTUACIÓN: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐ (Translated by Google) PIZZAIOLO 📍 WHERE: C/ Hortaleza, 84 🍽 REVIEW: A small trattoria in Chueca with a casual atmosphere, very fast and friendly service, and excellent pizzas. The only downside is that the tables are a bit too close together, but otherwise, we found it highly recommended. Regarding the food, we tried: - Pizza Etna (€13.90): York ham, spicy chorizo, arugula, tomato, and mozzarella. Our favorite. Very good, with the chorizo taking center stage. - Pizza Quattro Formaggi (€13.90): Mozzarella, gorgonzola, scamorza, and parmesan. We liked it a lot too, but we felt the gorgonzola could have been more prominent. ⚠️ NOTE: They don't take reservations, but tables tend to turn over quickly, so it's worth trying if you're in the area. 💳 AVERAGE PRICE: 💵💵 🏆 RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

(Translated by Google) On Hortaleza Street, in the heart of Madrid's vibrant energy, you'll find Pizzaiolo, a place that doesn't try to reinvent pizza, but rather to honor it. And that deeply Italian approach is precisely its success. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is enveloping. The space is welcoming without artifice: wood, warm lighting, tables close together that encourage conversation, and an ambiance reminiscent of a neighborhood trattoria in Rome or Naples. There's no ostentation; there's intention. Raffaella Carrà plays in the background—inevitably—and far from being merely incidental, it adds a festive lightness that completes the experience. A clear identity is evident: this is a place to enjoy yourself, naturally. The pizzas are the focus, and they are expertly crafted. The dough is well-fermented: light, airy at the edges, with just the right elasticity to allow it to be folded without breaking. The baking achieves a perfect balance between a crispy base and a supple center. The tomato sauce maintains its freshness and controlled acidity; The mozzarella melts perfectly without excess oil; the ingredients are carefully selected and measured. There's no unnecessary overload. It's a kitchen that understands proportion. Special mention must be made of the consistency: each pizza maintains technical coherence. This speaks to skill and control of the process, something essential in a product that appears simple but is technically demanding. The service is both professional and friendly. Prompt attention, a kind approach, and honest recommendations. There's no forced theatricality; there's genuine hospitality. You can tell the team knows what they offer and defends it with discretion. Overall, Pizzaiolo achieves something that isn't always evident in Madrid: conveying the essence of Italian culture—convivial, direct, and vibrant—without turning it into a caricature. Good pizza, good music, good service. A simple formula, executed with discernment. And in the restaurant business, that's saying a lot.
